SPICED CHICKPEA 'NUTS'

I have been advised by a colleague of mine which i respect a lot to add from time to time some recipes which might be totally new or not tasted from other people of the world :), I thought yep why not. Here it goes. If you try it , please leave me your comments, i'd like to hear from you. 　

SPICED CHICKPEA “NUTS”

When roasted in a hot oven, chickpeas become super crunchy.

They’re a great low-fat substitute for nuts when salty cravings hit.

　

Ingredients

·

1 15-ounce can chickpeas, rinsed

·

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

·

2 teaspoons ground cumin

·

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

·

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

·

1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

1. Position rack in upper third of oven; preheat to 450°F.

2. Blot chickpeas dry and toss in a bowl with oil, cumin, marjoram, allspice & salt.

3. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet.

4. Bake, stirring once or twice, until browned and crunchy, 25 to 30 minutes.

5. Let cool on the baking sheet for 15 minutes.

FRESH COMEBACK: LOCATION BEIRUT CITY

My Dear Fellow Readers,

Afer opening this blog last year and trying to figure out what is it NEXT that I wanted to explore in my life between my love for travelling, then my love for shopping, then my constant confusion of WHAT is it that makes people happy, then the questions about quitting a job with a good pay but which you don't like, or keeping your job and doing side things that satisfies all your senses, I thought the best was to take a time out to clear all these confusions in my mind and focus on WHAT makes me happy rather HOW to be happy.

The thing is this, I found out to be an outgoing person who loves LIFE, who loves to SHARE, who loves to GIVE, and who loves to do that with people who DESERVE.

After thinking about it, I realized my passion is travelling, meeting new people and culture, explore other people's way of thinking, maybe writing also about my experiences and the places i'm visiting, and above all SHARE whatever experience, news, photos, fashion finds, restaurants, hotels, and others that come across along the way!! To wrap it up, I will be writing about everything and anything :)

Since this blog is called "MyPersonalFind" and it starts to share with people things that we love and appreciate in life through OUR Personal finds, lately I have browsing many blogs and looking at their christmas wishes, made me wonder a bit!!!! Well here you can see from the pictures that there is not
better than having PEACE, LOVE and JOY in life... and yeah for this year MY Personal WISH is
a cute little baby girl :) if God allows (of course first I need to find the man to produce one).

Girls and Boys, Rich and Poor, we all need LOVE in our lives... So please let us not forget that not
everything in life is material gifts or really expensive ones, BUT the love of sharing beautiful moments together.
